Twitter Tuesday, brought to you by Kitchen Belleicious
Do you have a favorite blog that when you see a new post go up, you rush on over to take a peek?  Jessica of Kitchen Belleicious is one of those blogs for me. If you love to cook, and are always on the hunt for new recipes, Jessica is your girl! I have found ENDLESS recipes on her site, and they taste as good as they look! She’s a doll with a wonderful down to earth writing style, who I am proud to call my friend.
Check out her blog….you will be adding her to your daily reads…..guaranteed!
Jessica currently lives in Houston, Texas and has been blogging at Kitchen Belleicious for two and a half years.  Her favorite fashion icons are Reese Witherspoon & Carrie Underwood. Carey might not be a fashion icon yet but her style is very similar to mine and I think she always looks classy but fun!”.
Jessica’s two favorite colors are black and green and her favorite time of day is night. “Did I mention night! Could it be because both boys are actually asleep and I hear silence in the house? Just saying! “
Jessica’s favorite way to relax? “So cliche but get me in a good mood and I want to shop to celebrate. Get me in a bad mood and I want to shop to let off steam. Get me bored and well you guessed it!”
Let’s learn more about my super sweet Twitter Tuesday Buddy!!

What was your initial goal for your blog when you first began, and how has that changed today?

Jessica:    My initial goal was to share my recipes with others. I always had people tell me where did u get that recipe or how do u make this. My answer was always I don’t know! I just did it. I never used to write down my recipes until I started blogging. My goal has changed just a little because I now enjoy blogging to get inspired. I love seeing new ideas from other food bloggers and I love meeting new friends. I can honestly say some of my very great friends I have to meet thru my blog.

Where do you draw your cooking/baking inspiration from?

Jessica:
Everywhere, everything. Seriously, it can be a dish I tried, a memory that came back to me, a vacation I wish I could take, even clothes. Once I bought this amazing dress for my husband’s company dinner event and it just screamed elegant yet easy and so I got in the kitchen that afternoon and made the most fabulous tomato and onion tart! I’m weird- I know!

What is your favorite recipe and why?

JessicaMy eggplant napoleon! it is just simply delish. So refreshing and light but full of amazing flavors!

How many hours a day/week do you spend working on your blog?
Jessica:  Oh to count! Before my second little not arrived in December I would have declined this answer because you would have thought I had lost my mind I over the number of hours but now I don’t have as much time as I used to but I still spend at least 3 hours a day?
Where is your favorite place to shop?
Jessica: Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Piperlime

What “must haves” will you be adding to your kitchen/home?

JessicaNew Samsung refrigerator! Come to mama! I love it!

What is your favorite cooking/baking item, and why?

Jessica: M
y Kitchenaid stand mixer. I can;t live without it. Before i had this mixer I would never attempt to bake anything that required whipping things like eggs, cream, etc because I didn’t feel like standing there with a mixer in my hand for like an hour! LOL! With the mixer I just put the ingredients in there, turn it on, and walk away (for a little while at least)

Do you have any advice for new bloggers who are just getting started?

Jessica:

Network and be sincere. You can’t do this blogging world by yourself! People will come and go to your blog but the ones who truly appreciate what you are doing will stick around forever and you must appreciate their passion for your site and be sincere in your comments, responding to emails, etc. Your readers make your blog what it is!

If you have a career besides blogging, what do you do?

Jessica:  STAY AT HOME MOM! YES- its a career!

Please share with us something we would never guess about you. IE; a favorite hobby, a talent, a quirky habit:
Jessica:  I LOVE LOVE tennis. Besides cooking that is what I wish I could do every day. I played it in high school and went to state, etc. I was pretty good I must say. I wish I would have pursued it in college but sorority life just seemed so much more interesting at the time! Oh what might have been!
Where did the name for your blog derive from?
 Jessica:

I am a southern belle who loves to be in the kitchen and the name Kitchen Belle didn’t really sound right so I ultimately decided to add a little jazz using the sound of DELICIOUS to make it Belleicious!

Where do you see yourself in 2 years?

Jessica:

Raising my precious two little boys and hopefully just maybe at the start of writing my own cookbook. Whether it’s published or not I would love to start the process.

Thank you so much, Jessica for allowing me to feature you as my Twitter Tuesday Friend:)
